Our S5 certified models are compliant tested and certified with the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard. S5 certified boots must be equipped with puncture resistant soles, protective steel cap for toes and cleated outer sole. It is mandatory it has other standard features found in lower classifications such as antistatic build, resistance to oil and fuel, heel energy absorption, SRA rated slip resistant sole and waterproof exterior.

PROTECTIVE TOE CAP
The built-in steel toe caps are designed to protect the toes and is tested to resist a standard of 200-joules impact-resistance (equivalent to a 20Kg weight dropped 1.02Meters onto the toes) and a 15KN compression test (equivalent to 1.5 tonnes resting on􀀀the toe area).

PUNCTURE RESISTANT
A steel plate is positioned in the mid sole offering protection against penetration up to a force
of 1100N. This offers viable protection against most sharp and dangerous ground objects that can cause mild to severe foot injury. This meets the requirements for EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

ANTI-SLIP OUTSOLE
Slip Resistance (SR) are classified as SRA where boots are tested on a ceramic tile floor with
a wet liquid soap solution; alternatively, SRB classification, boots have passed tests on
smooth steel with glycerine; SRC is used when boots pass both SRA and SRB tests.
Tests are based on evaluating the coefficient of friction in forward heel and flat
slip situations. All models feature cleated outsole spits out debris for excellent gripping
action on various surfaces.

The VIKINGS Pro Series ® wellington boot PVC/Nitrile body features resistance to a wide variety of chemicals as a standard feature. This can include Certain Acids, Alkalies, Organic Solvents, Animal Fats, Oils, Hydrocarbon and other Light Chemicals.

HOW TO MEASURE

STEP #1

Place a piece of paper on a hard floor with one end to the wall. Stand up straight on the piece of paper with the heel slightly touching the wall.

STEP #2

Mark the end of your longest toe with a pencil for both feet. Tip: It's easier if you let someone help you with this.

STEP #3

Measure your marking from the wall (heel) to the longest toe for both feet. Take the larger of the two foot length values and compare it with our sizing chart heel to toe inch measurement, to define your US Work Shoe size.
